Mercator CEO Not Concerned About Retailer's Debt

Maribor, 28 February - Mercator's debt, which totals SIT 105bn (EUR 442m) is no reason for concern, CEO Zoran Jankovic told Saturday's Vecer, adding that not a single loan is mortgaged. This means that banks trust us completely based solely on the business operations and contracts, he said. "If we stopped investing now, all the debt would be paid off in less than four years," he stressed.
