Good 2003 Results Liven Up Bourse

Ljubljana, 28 February - After a period of increasing passiveness, stock brokers on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) woke up towards the end of this week as blue chips, especially retailer Mercator and household appliance maker Gorenje, posted good 2003 results. The benchmark SBI 20 index added 18.63 points (0.43 percent) on the week, closing at 4,120.71.
