Vitranc Cup: Miller Wins Giant Slalom
Kranjska Gora, 28 February - Bode Miller won the World Cup giant slalom in Kranjska Gora on Saturday, posting his second consecutive giant slalom win on the slopes overlooking this Apline resort. He finished in a combined time of 2:13.01, 0.25 seconds ahead of Italy's Alberto Schiepatti. Italy's Alexander Ploner and Friderik Nyberg of Sweden split for third, 0.60 seconds adrift. For both Italians, this was the first career podium.
