Western Balkans Have Improved Security Systems Significantly, DCAF Says

Bled, 29 February - The Western Balkans have made significant progress over the past few years in terms of border security. There is no such thing anymore as the "Balkan route", where illegal emigrants and organised crime would penetrate into the EU, concluded a conference of the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), which wrapped up on Saturday in the lake resort of Bled.
