Kranjska Gora, 29 February - Norway's Truls Ove Karlsen emerged as the surprise winner of Sunday's World Cup Slalom in Kranjska Gora, with a time of 1:42.72. His compatriot Tom Stiansen came in 0.08 seconds behind, while Austria's Mario Matt was third, 0.27 seconds behind the victorious Norwegian.
