LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to convene for an extraordinary session at 2 PM to examine reports by several institutions and agencies on the involvement of public office holders in the disputed sale of the bank SIB. (STA)

CANBERRA, Australia - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to conclude a three-day visit to Australia. He is to hold talks with his Australian counterpart Alexander Downer, Parliament Speaker Neil Andrew and Transport Minister John Anderson. (STA)

LONDON, Great Britain - Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to start a two-day visit to Great Britain. He is scheduled to meet with British Minister for Europe Denis Macshane Denis MacShane at 1:45 PM GMT. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Economics Minister Tea Petrin is to attend a business conference organised by the European Commission.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Minister for Environment, Energy and Spatial Planning Janez Kopac is to attend a meeting of environment ministers from EU members and acceding countries.

WARSAW, Poland - Transport Minister Jakob Presecnik is to conclude a two-day visit to Poland.

LJUBLJANA - Ljubljana's central hospital, Klinicni center, is to hold a press conference at 10:00 AM as part of the week of fight against cancer.

PORTOROZ - A two-day panel on Slovenia's cooperatives and the EU is to kick off. The event is organised by the Cooperative Union of Slovenia and will focus on the country's agriculture policy upon EU accession.

GORNJA RADGONA - The 14th international fair of packaging, packing technology, graphics, logistics and transport (INPAK) is to kick off. The event wraps up on 5 March.

DROGHEDA, Ireland - Culture Minister Andreja Rihter is to attend a two-day informal meeting of the EU ministers in charge of audiovisual production.
