Farmers to Get Over EUR 210m in Aid This Year

Portorož, 2 March - Slovenia will dole out SIT 21bn (EUR 88.4m) in subsidies to farmers this year. An additional SIT 21bn (EUR 88.4m) will be handed out for rural development, with the EU providing 80 percent of these funds, Agriculture Minister Franci But on Tuesday told the annual meeting of the Slovenian Association of Cooperatives.
