Workers' Council Confirms Redundancies in Two Alpina Plants

Žiri, 2 March - The workers' council of the leading Slovenian footwear maker has endorsed a programme of redundant workers at Alpina plants at the villages of Col and Gorenja vas, NW Slovenia. As a result, 222 employees will start receiving job termination notices as of 15 April, a radio report said Tuesday.
