Gov't Adopts Changes to Media Act to Uphold Media Pluralism

Ljubljana, 4 March - The government on Thursday passed changes to the media act for first reading in parliament, with the aim to create the conditions for media pluralism and to harmonise this sector with the acquis. The changes to the act were also necessary because of a new telecommunications bill, said Culture Minister Andreja Rihter.
