EU Food Inspectors Note Improvement, Some Shortcomings

Ljubljana, 5 March - European food and veterinary inspectors are leaving Slovenia after a five-day check of the country's food processing plants not completely satisfied with what they have seen. Although they noted significant progress, certain shortcomings remain, Slovenia's top veterinary official told the press on Friday.
