Rode Says His Appointment Is a Credit to Slovenia's Church and Nation

Ljubljana, 7 March - Ljubljana Archbishop and Slovenian Metropolitan Franc Rode, who has recently been appointed to a senior post in the Vatican, will not be leaving Slovenia with a light heart. "I love this country, the nation, the landscape...I feel incredibly connected with the Slovenian nation and Slovenian homeland," Rode told the public broadcaster Sunday evening.
