Slovenia Trailing Behind in Foreign Investments

Ljubljana, 8 March - Foreign investments in Slovenia in 2003 amounted to EUR 160.4m, and were mainly made in new services and retail companies, according to information available at the Bank of Slovenia. Foreign investments account for less than 1 percent of GDP, placing Slovenia on the very bottom both among EU member states and acceding countries, a business weekly writes.
