Role of CoE Shouldn't Diminish after EU Enlargement

Ljubljana, 8 March - The role of the Council of Europe should not diminish after the upcoming EU enlargement, FM Dimitrij Rupel said as he addressed a session of the Political Affairs Committee of the CoE Parliamentary Assembly in Ljubljana on Monday. What is more, the European Commission should have its representative in Strasbourg and sign the European Convention on Human Rights, Rupel stressed.
