Ljubljana, 8 March - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 9 March:

LJUBLJANA - Walter Schwimmer, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, is expected to wrap up his two-day visit to Slovenia. He is scheduled to meet with Interior Minister Rado Bohinc before holding a press conference at noon. (STA)

LJUBLJANA/BRDO PRI KRANJU - Estonian Foreign Minister Kristiina Ojuland is expected to meet Prime Minister Anton Rop and Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor before wrapping up a three-day official visit to Slovenia. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The executive committee of the opposition Youth Party is to be in session. All SMS lawmakers have been invited to what some analysts believe is a crisis meeting. The closed-door session starts at noon.

LJUBLJANA - Two leading officials from the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work are scheduled to visit Slovenia. Director Hans-Horst Konkolewsky and the head of the agency's international network Finn Sheye are due to meet Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski. The officials are expected to speak to the press at 12.30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the Irish parliamentary agriculture and food committee is set to meet with representatives of the Slovenian parliamentary agriculture committee as part of a visit to Slovenia. The Irish officials are also scheduled to be received by Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The junior coalition People's Party (SLS) is to hold a press conference at 11.30 AM to present the wording of a bill on a public holiday that would mark the annexation of the southwestern Primorsko region to Slovenia following the Second World War. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committee for the constitution is expected to debate the proposed constitutional changes dealing with the judiciary.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Finance Minister Dusan Mramor is due to attend a meeting of EU counterparts that will discuss the spring economic summit of the bloc and the proposed EU economic stimulus package.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Transport Minister Jakob Presecnik is expected to attend a meeting of EU ministers of transport, telecommunications and energy.

LJUBLJANA - An annual stock market forum is set to get underway at 2.30 PM, featuring leading economists and market experts. Ljubljana Stock Exchange general manager Drasko Veselinovic, the director of the financial group KD Matjaz Gantar and the head of the expert council at the Securities Market Agency Miha Juhart are set to speak at the event.

MURSKA SOBOTA/LJUTOMER - Two new business incubators are scheduled to be open in NE Slovenia. The two openings are to be attended by EU ambassador Erwan Fouere and Regional Development Minister Zdenka Kovac.

BUDAPEST, Hungary - A delegation of the parliamentary commission for relations with Slovenians living abroad are scheduled to begin a three-day visit to Hungary.
