Engelman a Third Time Lucky?

Ljubljana, 9 March - President Janez Drnovsek has proposed to parliament to appoint Andrej Engelman, the incumbent deputy Europe minister, president of the Court of Audits. After failing to appoint two previous candidates put forward by the president, MPs are expected to take a vote on Engelman at the March session. The candidate needs the support of 46 MPs to get elected.
