Slovenia Generally in Favour of "Eurovignette"

Brussels, 9 March - Despite all day negotiations and two compromise proposals by the Irish presidency, the EU transport ministers on Tuesday failed to reach agreement on a uniform charge system for heavy-goods vehicles. Slovenia's Minister Jakob Presecnik, who attended the session in Brussels as an observer, said Slovenia was in principle in favour of introducing a "Eurovignette".
