Ljubljana, 11 March - Annual records show 500 million days of sick leave in the EU, accounting for a loss of 2.8 to 3.6 percent of the GDP. The situation is even worse in the acceding countries. Although Slovenia has already harmonised its legislation on safety and health at work with the acquis, its implementation is being questionable, Vecer points out on Thursday.
