Gov't Passes Changes to Energy Act

Ljubljana, 11 March - The government passed changes to the energy act which have been drafted on the basis of the European gas and electricity directives passed in June 2003 and will bring a number of novelties. The bill will be sent to parliament for adoption in a fast-track procedure as it has to be passed before Slovenia joins the EU on 1 May.
