Gov't Confirms Sale of Two 3G Licenses

Ljubljana, 11 March - The government confirmed Thursday the sale of two licenses for the third-generation mobile telephony services, UMTS. Each license will cost 9 billion tolars (EUR 37.8m). Currently only Mobitel, Slovenia's leading mobile company, has a license.
