Drnovsek and Chirac Discuss Two-Tier Europe

Paris, 12 March - Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek met on Friday his French counterpart Jacques Chirac, with whom he discussed in detail the concept of a two-tier Europe. It was clarified that this is not about the formation of a firm core but rather about "flexibility, an option for countries to integrate in various fields and move on faster without having to wait for the last one always", Drnovsek said after the talks.
