Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 6 to 12 March

Ljubljana, 13 March - Slovenian officials joined politicians from around the world in condemning Thursday's coordinated bomb attacks on commuter trains in Madrid, which killed 200 people and injured 1,500. A small rally to remember the victims was held a day after the bombings in front of the Spanish Embassy in Ljubljana. Meanwhile, the European Parliament this week confirmed a report which makes a positive assessment of Slovenian preparations for EU membership. The report urges Slovenia to maintain the efforts.
