Ljubljana, 15 March - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 16 March:

BRDO PRI KRANJU/LJUBLJANA - PM of Bosnia-Herzegovina Adnan Terzic is to arrive for a two-day official visit to Slovenia at the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart Anton Rop. Terzic is also scheduled to meet Jozko Cuk, head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS). A press conference is scheduled for 11:50 AM, after the meeting with Rop. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Serbian Deputy PM Miroljub Labus is to visit Slovenia. He is scheduled to meet PM Anton Rop, Economics Minister Tea Petrin, Agriculture Minister Franci But, Deputy Director of the Government European Affairs Office Rado Genorio and GZS President Jozko Cuk. Petrin and Labus are to hold a joint press conference after their meeting at 1:00 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - President of the World Bank James Wolfensohn is to arrive for a two-day visit to Slovenia, his first ever, to sign Slovenia's graduation letter with members of the government. He is scheduled to meet Finance Minister Dusan Mramor, PM Anton Rop and President Janez Drnovsek.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - President of the European Commission Romano Prodi is to meet with all candidates for future commissioners from the ten EU newcomers, including the Slovenian candidate, Europe Minister Janez Potocnik. (STA)

BERLIN, Germany - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc it to travel to Germany to meet his German counterpart Otto Schilly. The pair are to discuss the establishment of the Schengen border in Slovenia, and Slovenia's candidacy for the seat of the European agency for management of EU external borders.

GENEVA, Switzerland - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to address the 60th session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. On the sidelines, Rupel is to meet several officials, including Albanian counterpart Kastriot Islami.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - A parliamentary delegation headed by National Assembly Speaker Borut Pahor is due to wrap up a two-day official visit to Sweden.

LJUBLJANA - A conference on foreign direct investment entitled "Membership in the EU - Opportunities and Challenges for FDI" is to be organised by the European Commission delegation to Slovenia in cooperation with the government agency for Slovenian economic promotion and foreign investments, and the business daily Finance. The event is to be opened by EU Ambassador Erwan Fouere at 9:00 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of the Information Society is to hold a press conference at noon to present changes to the legislation regarding telecommunications and the information society in the light of Slovenia's upcoming EU membership. (STA)

MARIBOR - Insurance company Zavarovalnica Maribor and German insurer Arag, which launched operations on the Slovenian market on 1 March, are to sign a cooperation agreement at a special ceremony.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenian office of the Red Cross is to hold a press conference to present the business results for 2003.
