Jansa Criticises the Issue of Visa to Lukashenko

Ljubljana, 16 March - Opposition leader Janez Jansa on Tuesday criticised the Foreign Ministry for allowing Belorussian President Alexander Lukashenko to visit Slovenia. Issuing a visa to the Belorussian dictator raises the question of what kind of human rights policy the government is pursuing, Jansa told the press. Responding to the criticism, the Foreign Ministry said it had consulted the EU before issuing it.
