Slovenia Reminded of Shortcomings in EU Entry Preparations

Brussels, 17 March - Slovenia last week received a notice of warning from the European Parliament for seriously lagging behind in its preparations for the EU membership in veterinary and in the mutual recognition of professional qualifications in the health sector. Now Fabrizio Barbaso, the Commission's director general of DG Enlargement, has addressed a number of other shortcomings in a letter sent to the Government Office for European Affairs.
