LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold a regular weekly session at 10:00 AM, to discuss among other matters amendments to the VAT law. (STA)
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Finance Minister Dusan Mramor is to attend a meeting of finance ministers from the EU acceding countries.
DUBLIN, Ireland - Minister of Education, Science and Sport Slavko Gaber is to pay a two-day visit to Ireland. On Thursday he is to attend a meeting of education ministers from the OECD member states.
LJUBLJANA - A panel entitled "Ethics of Slovenian Companies" is to be organised by the Slovenian Management Agency and the Office for the Prevention of Corruption. To begin at 9 AM, the panel will be opened by the president of the Chamber of Commerce Jozko Cuk. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's leading bank Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) is to host a panel entitled "Slovenia between the European Union and SE Europe".
SEMIC - Maker of capacitators Iskra Kondenzatorji is to hold a press conference at 10:30 AM to present the company's business targets and restructuring programme.
LJUBLJANA - Entrepreneur of the Year award is to be conferred at a special ceremony at 7 PM. The ceremony is to be addressed by Economics Minister Tea Petrin.
LJUBLJANA - A series of events will be launched to mark the 100th anniversary of birth of Srecko Kosovel (1904-1926), one of Slovenia's most celebrated poets.
