Euroleague: Pau Orthez Snaps Olimpija Curse

Pau, 18 March - Despite putting up a strong fight for most of the game, Slovenian club Olimpija could not make it three of three this season against France's Pau Orthez, losing 77:83 (25:20, 42:40, 57:59) in the third week of Top 16 play (group E) of Europe's strongest basketball league in Pau on Thursday. Olimpija won both regular season games against the French club and looked headed for another win as it built up a large lead by the middle of the second quarter. However, the home team staged a recovery against an Olimpija line-up that was missing its three best players due to injury.
