Zoran Thaler in Rome

Ljubljana, 20 September - At the invitation of the Radical Party, the Slovene Deputy Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler will leave Slovenia on September 21, to attend the session of the Federal Council of the Radical Party which will take place on September 22, in Rome. The central item on the agenda will be a debate on the situation in Yugoslavia and the discussion of the imperative action to be agreed upon on the level of the Italian and the European Parliament, with the aim of achieving international recognition of Slovenia and Croatia. The session will be chaired by Minister of the European Community and emissary Carlo Ripa di Meana, by the leader of the Demo-Christians and by the Italian Minister of the Interior Enzo Scotti. The session in Rome will also be attended by representatives from Croatia and Kosovo.
