Slovenia to Join NATO Next Week

Ljubljana, 22 March - Next week Slovenia is set to become a full-fledged member of NATO, realising an objective that was set by the National Assembly back in 1996. The country's active cooperation with the alliance will thus be upgraded as Slovenia will be able to participate in NATO's decision-making processes.
