Spar Slovenija Says 2003 Extremely Successful

Ljubljana, 23 March - Grocer Spar Slovenija increased its sales revenues by 28 percent to SIT 91bn (EUR 384m) last year. "It was an extremely successful year," general manager Igor Mervic stated at a press conference on Tuesday. "We had forecast turnover of between SIT 87 (EUR 367m) and SIT 88bn (EUR 371m), but we generated more than SIT 91bn (EUR 384m)," Mervic noted.
