Archbishop Takes Leave of President

Brdo pri Kranju, 23 March - Ljubljana Archbishop and Slovenian Metropolitan Franc Rode visited President Janez Drnovsek on Tuesday to bid him farewell before leaving for a senior position in the Vatican. The pair shared a view that the cooperation between the State and the Church had been positive, and that the adoption of the agreement with the Holy See was an important step forward in the relations, the presidential office stated in a pres release.
