Slovenia to Import Electricity for a Couple More Years

Ljubljana, 24 March - Slovenia will not be able to cover its electricity consumption with its production capacities for some years. This year alone, the production-consumption deficit will amount to 2.5 billion kWh and there is no choice but to import. This was one of the issues stressed at a conference on Slovenia's energy sector ahead of EU accession held on Wednesday.
