Cultural Ties Champions of Good Relations Among Neighboring Countries

A ceremony was held in Ljubljana today to present the newly published third edition of the Anthology of Slovene Poetry in Croatian, collected by Academician Ciril Zlobec and mostly translated by poet Slavko Mihalić. This printing is the second extended edition of the anthology. On the occasion Miljanko Žagar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Slovenia, said that the similar historical fate unites the two neighboring nations. This should dictate friendly relations and understanding between the two countries. This edition of the anthology was published by Školska Knjiga of Zagreb and includes 1,500 copies.
