Future US Ambassador Labels Slovenia a Success Story, Points to Challenges

Washington, 26 March - Slovenia is a story of great success that can play an important role in promoting democracy and stability in the region and in the broader area, said Thomas Bolling Robertson, a career diplomat working at the State Department who has been nominated as the new US ambassador to Slovenia. Undergoing a hearing at the US Senate foreign relations committee on Thursday, Robertson also highlighted some challenges ahead for Slovenia.
