Efficient EU Membership Means Optimal Realisation of National Interests, FM Says

Ljubljana, 27 March - Efficient EU membership means that an EU member can implement its national interests in an optimal way, in accord with the remaining 24 member states, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel has said in an interview for STA, commenting on Slovenia's role in the enlarged EU. He is convinced that solutions passed by the EU must take into account Slovenia's national interests, although all possible situations cannot be predicted right now.
