LJUBLJANA - The STA will release an interview with Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel. The minister is to speak about EU matters and Slovenia's role in the enlarged EU. (STA)

CELJE - The council of the conservative opposition New Slovenia (NSi) party is to hold a session to debate current political developments and aims for this year's European Parliament elections and Slovenian general elections. A press statement is scheduled for 3:45 PM. (STA)

BLED - Participants of the second day of a three-day conference entitled "Slovenia's Future in the EU" are to review the country's justice system. Justice Minister Ivan Bizjak, the president of the Ljubljana District Court and Paolo Magozzi, a judge at the European Court of First Instance, are due to take part in the debate.

SEZANA - A national ceremony is to mark 100 years since one of the most acclaimed Slovenian poets, Srecko Kosovel, was born. The ceremony, which is due to get underway at 8:00 PM, is to be attended by Culture Minister Andreja Rihter, among others.
