Ljubljana, 30 March - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 31 March:

BERLIN, Germany - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend the two-day conference "Afghanistan and the International Community - a Partnership for the Future". (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to attend a presentation of a World Bank report titled "Slovenia: From Yugoslavia to the European Union" at 11 AM. Also taking part will be Jaime Garcia Lombardero, a European Commission Enlargement Directorate General official in charge of Slovenia, and Marko Voljc, director general for Central Europe at the KBC Bank and Insurance Holding. LJUBLJANA - Forum 21, an association for political, economic, development, social, cultural and ethnic issues, is to hold a founding meeting at 5 PM. Milan Kucan, the former Slovenian president, is the candidate for the president of the forum. He is also to outline the forum's activity. (STA)

GORNJA RADGONA, Slovenia/BAD RADKERSBURG, Austria - The Slovenian parliamentary commission for European affairs and the Austrian parliamentary subcommittee for EU affairs will meet for a two-day session. The meeting was initiated by Austrian Parliament Speaker Andreas Khol as his Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor visited Austria in November 2003.

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Agriculture Minister Franci But is to wrap up a two-day working visit to Bosnia. He is to attend a business conference on investments.

BRDO PRI KRANJU - A three-day conference on the social dialogue and on overcoming differences in EU accession countries is to open at 1 PM, organised by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions in cooperation with social partners and EU acceding countries. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A rally is to begin at 11.55 AM in Preseren Square in the city centre to draw the public's attention to the issue of the erased ahead of the Sunday referendum on whether to reinstate the erased citizens their rights. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A two-day meeting of public broadcasters from the territory of former Yugoslavia is to begin. Officials from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia are to meet to boost cooperation of public broadcasters from a region sharing historical, cultural and business background.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Business Week is to wrap up. On the agenda are EU assistance programmes to growing markets and the opportunities for Slovenian companies. Addressing the final day of the conference will be the deputy president of the Chambe of Commerce (GZS), Cveto Stantic. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Statistical Office is to hold a press conference at 10.30 to present the latest economic and social indices in Slovenia. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held at 11 AM after a three-day conference on the integration of migrants and refugees into the Slovenian society is to wrap up. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The British Embassy and the British Council are to hold a news conference at 10 AM to present their "Crossroads for Ideas" programme, which welcomes Slovenia's accession to the EU.

LJUBLJANA - Before leaving for Colombia, the Mladinsko Theatre is to present at noon its appearance at the upcoming Iberoamerican Theater Festival of Bogota.

LJUBLJANA - Union Olimpija is to take on France's Pau Orthez at 8.40 PM in week five of the Euroleague's round of 16. (STA)
