De Hoop Scheffer Says Slovenia Must not Rest on Its Laurels

Brussels, 30 March - Slovenia has joined NATO politically mature and following tough preparations, which does not mean though that it can rest on its laurels - quite the opposite, it must continue with the tasks set, such as defence restructuring and developing its capacities, especially in "niches", NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer stated in Brussels on Tuesday.
