MPs Pass Two EU-Compatible Environmental Laws

Ljubljana, 31 March - The parliament passed a bill on the protection of the environment and changes to the nature preservation act, which are both part of the EU-compatible legislation bundle. The national energy programme, meanwhile, will not be put to vote on Wednesday because of complications in the procedure. The document is expected to be on the agenda of the extraordinary session that begins on 5 April.
