SLOVENIAN PRESS REVIEW

Ljubljana, 28 September - DELO: THE FOURTH ACT - Due to the fact that the Hague ministers are now also backed by the Americans, and because the Security Council stands behind the new proposals with its warnings and possible threats, the Serbian directors of the Yugo-drama have probably finally lost their director's chair. No longer are only two republican armies directed against them, but also Europe pasted together with American glue and even Moscow and Peking nodding their heads to Washington. As it is not likely that anyone in their right mind would be able to withstand such pledged pressure, we can hope, that the fourth act, according to which the Slovenians are to finally step down from the Yugoslav stage, is nevertheless beginning. Its duration will, of course, depend upon American interests and their evaluation of the seriousness of the situation, writes Damjan Slabe.
