Ljubljana, 8 October - DNEVNIK: OBSOLESCENT POLICY - In connection with the idea for the Yugoslav army units which have remained in Slovenia to be transported through Italy, some Italian circles forged plans similar to those from World War I when a considerable segment of the then Serbian army, attacked by the Austro-Hungarian forces, was transported to southern Italy. A part of the Italian history still glorifies that operation and a similar gesture now would somehow harmonize with the then Italian operation and policy. Such policy today is evidently pro-Serbian and contrary to civilizational trends.
