The law on the use of the moneray unit of Slovenia

Ljubljana, 8 October - Slovenia today introduced the tolar as the only effective means of payment. In the name and for the account of the Bank of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovenia has issued coupons which will be used until the tolar banknotes and coins are put into circulation. As of today, the dinar banknotes and coins will be withdrawn from circulation parallel with the putting into circulation of the coupons. The dinar-coupon exchange ratio is 1:1. All prices will as from today be expressed in the monetary unit of the Republic of Slovenia.
