Potocnik Confirmed as European Commissioner
Brussels, 5 May - The European Parliament has approved the European Commission candidates from the new EU members with 531 votes for, 18 against and 31 abstentions. Among the commissioners from the ten newcomers is Slovenia's Janez Potocnik.
