Health-care workers on strike

Ljubljana, 13 October - Hard negotiations between health-care workers and the government enter their fifth day. All public health institutions and pharmacies are on strike for 4 days already; it is hoped that negotiations will be resumed tomorrow. The health-care workers demand not only higher wages but also a different division of the health-care funds in the state budget.
