Disassociation of Slovenian Railroads from the Yugoslav Network

Ljubljana, 14 October - With the continuation of the process of independence of the Republic of Slovenia, the railway traffic administration is also continuing its process of disassociating ŽG Ljubljana (Railway Administration of Ljubljana) from the Yugoslav railway network. The present inter-republican railway traffic will gradually become international traffic by next year. A preliminary solution will be submitted by ŽG Ljubljana on October 15, with the introduction of its own price list instead of the previous unified one. Freight traffic between republics will have international transport documents valid from October 15 on, while they are also preparing international railway tickets for passenger traffic between republics.
