Earliest Slovenian Writings Arrive in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 13 May - The National and University Library (NUK) welcomed on Thursday afternoon the earliest written records of the Slovenian language, the Freising Manuscripts, on loan from the Bavarian State Library from Munich. Together with other documents written in early Slovenian, this treasury will be showcased in an exhibition entitled "The Birth Certificate of Slovenia".
