The first results of the population census

Ljubljana, 18 October - The Slovene Bureau of Statistics has published the first results of the population census carried out this year in Slovenia. According to the census, 2,000,185 people have permanent residence in Slovenia. Of these, 970,534 are males and 1,029,651 are females. The largest number of the population is aged 38 years (33,609 persons), and the smallest is aged over 100 (26 persons - of these only 5 are male).
