REVIEW OF THE MORE IMPORTANT EVENTS IN SLOVENIA FROM 13th - 19th OCTOBER 1991

Ljubljana, 20 October - Last week was marked by quite active social happenings in a wide range of fields. The continuance of the steps towards attaining independence following the expiration of the moratorium in the monetary, customs and other fields, as well as the first effects of these kept the Slovenian and international public quite busy. Otherwise, the adaptation to the new currency and other changes, above all the new regime on the southern border of Slovenia, is taking place quickly, but not without difficulties which are strongest felt by individual businesses.
