Miran Bogataj: The Withdrawal of the Yugoslav Army is going as Planned

Ljubljana, 20 October - Deputy to the Slovenian Minister of Defense, Miran Bogataj, in a statement for STA said that the withdrawal of the Yugoslav army from Slovenia is taking place in accordance with the agreed plan, which was signed by the delegations of the Yugoslav army and the Republic of Slovenia on October 18 of this year. The majority of railway wagon compositions were already taken over yesterday, while the remaining compositions, storage and military facilities are being turned over today. The removal of mines is taking place without any difficulties. The vehicles for the transportation of soldiers towards Koper are already prepared or being prepared. Thus, the transportation of soldiers and their personal weaponry and equipment towards Koper will take place in the course of tonight. "The arrival of the ships with which they will withdraw has been confirmed," stated Miran Bogataj.
