Dubrovnik is being shelled, still isolated

Dubrovnik, 23 October - After last night's grenade attack from Yugoslav Navy ships, the night was relatively quiet. The Crisis Headquarters reported that they fired on Župa, Rijeka Dobrovačka and the Dubrovnik coast line. The inhabitants of Lapad lived through the worst attack thus far. Even though the inhabitants sought protected shelter after the emergency signal for air attack was sounded, it is so far known that one person was killed and two were wounded. During the attack, the hotels Tirena, Grand Hotel Park, Dubrovnik-Palace and Dubrovnik hospital, were badly hit. Dubrovnik is without electricity, water and telephone communications for the 23rd day, and is in total isolation.
