All Adria Airways aircraft are grounded

Ljubljana, 25 October - A notice arrived yesterday afternoon from Belgrade stating that the Federal Secretariat of Transport and Communications sent an official notice to the Adria Airways branch office in Belgrade, informing the airline it no longer has permission to fly in domestic and international airspace. The reason for this measure stated in the notice was that the federal inspectors have no means of controlling the airport staff and technical functioning of the Adria Airways aircraft flying from the airport in Klagenfurt (Celovec). Therefore, states the notice, the federal flight control authorities can no longer guarantee the safety of all air traffic.
